It’s not the first time he did it. To be specific, it’s the sixth time! Donal Skehan published a new cookbook which is in shelves since the end of October.
“Fresh” is full of simple, delicious recipes to make you feel energised: for breakfasts and snacks as well as food on the run, quick cook suppers and dessert & sweet treats, such as sugar free chocolate chip cookies, beetroot & chickpea burgers, super power veggie summer rolls, Za’atar quinoa poached eggs. Each one of the recipes aims to maximise health through eating delicious and nutrient-packed food rather than any sort of diet-deprivation.
Even if Donal is just 29 years old, he has gained a lot of experience as a food writer, food photographer and TV presenter during the last years. What started as a food blog in 2007 has become a big business for him by now – he is often said to be the Irish Jamie Oliver. His previous cookbooks were all very successful, especially the award-winning “Good Mood Food”, which was his first one and inspired by his blog.
Fresh has just been nominated for the Avonmore Cookbook of the Year, so this one is definitely worth buying and also a good Christmas stocking-filler!
If you want to have your very own and personal copy of “Fresh”, this might be interesting for you: Donal Skehan will be signing his new work on Friday, 6th November at Arnotts Deparment Store in Henry Street – you shouldn’t miss this! Just check out this event!
