The former home of Twisted Pepper, has undergone a new stylish renovation and has reopened as Wigwam. It is the brainchild of the people responsible for The Bernard Shaw, and last summers Big Grill Festival in Herbert Park. There will still be favourites like The Boxcutter Barbershop and Vice Coffee, but they will be joined by a restaurant specialising in Brazilian-Irish fusion cuisine. Get ready to learn about ingredients such as cassava and acai. To complement the restaurant, there will be toasted sandwiches available, as well as something sweet from the Dublin Doughnut Company. Food will be available throughout the day, from 11am to 11pm.

With all this talk of food, what sort of drinks will be available ? Wigwam will specialise in mixology, the art of cocktail creation. The team will be using ingredients like pomegranates and ginger to create some zingy tasty cocktails. Of course, there will also be a range of craft beers, spirits and wines available too.

For those interested in learning more about cocktail making and coffee brewing, there will be a small shop selling books such as “Potions of the Caribbean”, “The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks”, as well as the necessary equipment to start your own mixology journey.
