For all beer lovers, The Porterhouse Brewing Company is a staple favourite offering a large range of beers made in the same factory. Here, no Carlsberg, Guinness or Heineken, all the products are signed “Porterhouse”, which has been the crowning success of the brand. However, it would be a mistake to rest on these laurels. That’s why the company launched their very own Winter Warmer speciality brews, only available for the Christmas Season. New kids on the block; Celebration Stout and Louder will be joined by seasoned favourites; Wrasslers 4X and An Brain Blásta in a combination that promises to have everyone in good cheer!

Louder, as its name suggests it, is a ‘Banging strong ale’ which will give you red cheeks with its 11%! It is the result of a collaboration between the Brewing company and Joe Elliot from the band Def Leppard, fellow fan of the ales and stouts of The Porterhouse. If you like; a beer made by a connoisseur for connoisseurs.

If the Oyster Stout is a must for the brewery, why not make a Stout to celebrate Christmas? The Celebration Stout will make your Christmas dreams come early with its creamy coffee and chocolates notes. A sweetness worthy of any stockings stuffed with candy.

If you felt the Celebration Stout lacks pedigree the Porterhouse offers a stout with clout; Wrasslers 4X is greatly different, much stronger with an intense taste of hops and roasted grain.

The last but far from least by any means is a tasty classic: Described by the Brewing Company as their “ultimate secret weapon”, An Brain Blásta is probably the most surprising and enjoyable beer if you are looking for something different and full of flavours.

With these tasty new additions it may be hard to decide what makes your Christmas list. Don’t stress the Porterhouse Bar proposes a Tasting Tray for €5.50. A more economic way to discover the interesting potential of this popular Brewing Company which opened its first pub in 1996.
