My grandfather trying to force me to eat just one brussels sprout at Christmas when I was about 4 years old. No thank you!

I just got back from Paris where my friend took me to a fondue and raclette restaurant. From the minute I stepped through the door I knew I was in foodie heaven.

Every time I am home from my travels I try pay a visit to Bunnyconnellan’s Bar and Restaurant down in Myrtleville. They have amazing food and it comes with one of the best views in Ireland.

Favourite celebrity chef?

I would have to say Rachel Allen…I like to support women and people from Cork!

Favourite TV food programme?

The Great British Bake Off is fantastic. I have a friend, Selene, who always tries to keep up with the show and I love seeing her incredible creations in real life!

There’s a restaurant called The Cottage in County Leitrim that I totally fell in love with when I last visited. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere but the food is out of this world.

Favourite Bar/Pub?

Grogans on South William Street. Great for people watching and I love their toasties!

The food I dislike the most?

Seafood. Sadly I just can’t stomach it.

The cheesecake in Acapulco Mexican restaurant on George’s street. I once went in there just to order the cheesecake. It’s that good.

The meal I make to impress my friends?

Thai curry. I did a Thai cooking course while in Thailand and now it’s the meal everyone expects whenever I’m cooking. I love spicy food so sometimes I may overdo it with the chilies!

If I owned a restaurant I would name it?

“From Around The World”.
