This week sees the opening of the latest Butlers Chocolate café, in Dublin 22’s retail mecca, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.

Having recently undertaken a €26 million investment which will see a number of household name brands join the already successful mix of retail and leisure outlets, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre have added another feather to their cap with Butlers Chocolate Café opening in a prime location in the newly refurbished West End Mall.

Butlers is a true Irish success story. Founded in 1932 by the trailblazing Marion Butler, the company has gone from strength to strength during its 80-year history. While the first Butlers Chocolate Café opened just 19 years ago on Dublin’s Wicklow Street, the firm now boasts 31 stores around the world, including far flung destinations such as New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh and most recently, Dubai.

The Liffey Valley store is the 19th to open in Ireland, and will bring the total number of people directly employed by Butlers Chocolate Cafes to more than 200.

Commenting on the opening, Michelle McBride, Butlers Chocolates Retail Director said “Butlers Chocolate Café Liffey Valley embodies the luxurious haven that we strive to create for all of our customers and we are really excited about our arrival in West Dublin. We are delighted to bring a moment of happiness to our new customers just in time for the festive season”.

The full Butlers Chocolates Café menu consists of all the of the freshly prepared beverages we have come to know and love from this highly successful chain. Butlers Chocolate Café’s signature hot beverages will be served by highly skilled baristas with a welcoming smile, wonderful service and a complimentary chocolate of choice.

If sipping a rich hot chocolate during your Christmas shopping isn’t enough to get you in the festive spirit, a stop at the 2,500 seat Olympic-sized indoor ice arena should certainly have you humming “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” on the way home.

The new store at Liffey Valley carries the complete Butlers Chocolate Christmas Collection, including limited edition Chocolate Santa’s and Snowmen that can be personalised with the recipient’s name on the chocolate figure’s ribbon, and are perfect stocking fillers for chocolate lovers of all ages.
