Drop Dead Twice, the Dublin bar which introduced the BYOC (bring your own cocktail) concept to our fair shores have just announced the launch of their Afternoon Tea… and as you would expect, it’s an Afternoon Tea with a twist!
A major part of the festive season is the fact that you can throw caution to the wind, and eat and drink to your hearts content, and Drop Dead Twice are now giving Dublin’s revellers the chance to do just this on every Sunday in December. Each 2-hour and 3-hour slot will see guests indulge in a wide array goodies, of both the sweet and savoury persuasion. Nibbles on offer include brie and grape finger sandwiches as well as sweet treats like Earl Grey infused barmbrack. Fans of the signature Drop Dead Experience won’t be disappointed either. The team of experienced mixologists will be ready and waiting to shake and stir a number of bespoke cocktails, once you have handed over your favourite spirit.
Especially for the season, guests will be able to sample their latest cocktail creation, the aptly named Hoppin’ Around the Christmas Tree, a blend of marmalade, allspice, cinnamon, egg whites and topped off with Hop House 13. Best of all, whether your tipple of choice is usually vodka, rum or whiskey, this concoction can be made with any of the three.
